Investor fees explained

This article covers CashSouk charges that apply to investor cash and notes. It does not describe issuer fees.

No onboarding, deposit, withdrawal, or commit fee

Investors do not pay an onboarding fee.

When you Add cash, the amount you pay by FPX is the amount CashSouk tries to credit. CashSouk does not add a separate deposit fee.

When you Withdraw cash, the amount requested is the amount debited from available cash. CashSouk does not add a separate withdrawal fee.

When you select Confirm investment, the amount reserved is the amount you entered. The commitment does not add a separate CashSouk fee.

If a listing does not reach its minimum by the deadline, reserved cash is released and you are not charged.

Your bank or FPX may apply its own charges. Those are outside CashSouk’s control and are not listed here.

Service fee

The investor fee that does apply is the service fee on a funded note.

  • It is deducted from contractual gross profit at settlement.
  • It is not deducted from principal.
  • The rate is the one shown for that note, including in the prospectus and on Settlement breakdown as Service fee deducted.

This article does not publish a percentage. The rate is set on the note. Read the prospectus before you commit.

If the listing fails, there is no service fee because there is no settlement profit.

What you will see

On a settled position, Gross profit (before fee) minus Service fee deducted equals Net profit received. Total received then adds principal and any Ta'widh.

Profit & loss on Portfolio uses realised net results, not the advertised card rate.

Common questions

Do I pay the service fee up front?

No. It is taken from gross profit when the note settles, not when you confirm the investment.

What if the note never pays profit?

The service fee is taken from contractual profit. If there is no gross profit to deduct from, you are not charged a separate commit or listing fee.

Why does the prospectus mention a rate I do not see here?

The rate belongs to that note. Use the prospectus and the settlement breakdown for the figure that applies to you.

Are deposit and withdrawal limits fees?

No. The current default deposit range is RM 100 to RM 30,000, and the current withdrawal minimum is RM 100, as shown in the portal. Those are amount limits, not charges.
