Add cash to your account
Add cash to your investor account with FPX so it becomes available cash you can invest or later withdraw.
Before you start
Use a Malaysian bank account in your own name — the same legal name as the investor account. CashSouk cannot accept a transfer from someone else. Your account should be approved, or you should have reached Make Your First Deposit on the dashboard.
Open Add cash
On Portfolio or Marketplace, select Deposit. The dialog title is Add cash. After approval, the dashboard also shows Make Your First Deposit.
Pay by FPX
Under How much would you like to add?, enter the amount. The portal displays the current limits. The current default range is RM 100 to RM 30,000 per deposit. Select Continue to FPX and finish the payment at your bank.
The first successful deposit unlocks investing. Later deposits top up available cash.
Confirmation
After FPX, the portal shows Confirming your payment. This usually takes a few seconds. When the credit succeeds you see Deposit successful and the amount in available cash.
A Deposit Successful notice also appears in the portal bell. That alert is in-app by default.
If verification needs more time
Deposits must match your name. If automatic checks are still running, the return screen shows Deposit received and the transaction status Verifying. This usually completes within one business day, but that is not guaranteed.
If the name does not match, CashSouk returns the money. You may see Deposit Verification Failed, then Refund in progress or Deposit refunded. A refund usually takes 5–7 business days. The transaction list may show Refunding or Refunded.
If automatic handling cannot finish, the status is Needs review and the return screen shows Deposit could not be processed. The CashSouk team follows up. Do not assume the cash is available to invest.
What you will see
Successful deposits appear under Portfolio > Transactions as type Deposit. Use that list, not only the return dialog, if you close the window early.
Common questions
Why was my deposit sent back?
The paying account name did not match the investor account, or verification could not be completed. Wait for the refund status, then try again from an account in your own name.
Does the first deposit have to be the maximum?
No. Use any amount inside the limits shown in Add cash. The current minimum is RM 100 unless the portal shows a different figure.
When can I invest after I pay?
After the deposit is successfully credited — Deposit successful — and the dashboard no longer requires a first deposit. Verifying or Needs review means the cash is not ready yet.
Is there a CashSouk deposit fee?
CashSouk does not add a separate deposit fee on top of the amount you pay. See Investor fees explained.
